You're The Reason is the theme song from the documentary film Sexual Revolution: 50 Years Since Humanae Vitae. The song speaks for itself and is dedicated to Pope Saint Paul VI, the author of the controversial encyclical about human life. The song was written by Australian singer/songwriter Jessica Paige who was discovered busking on a street in downtown Melbourne, Australia, by director Daniel diSilva while on location. In the studio back in the States, Newman lent her own turns and lovely vocal style to the song making it fit the soundtrack for the documentary. We are proud to have a song dedicated to Pope Paul VI on this film.
